About Our Sisters
At St. Joseph Convent, we are more than a retirement home for religious Sisters.  Here, young and old share their lives together.  Residents are cared for as good friends.  Regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations, residents are offered a wide range of opportunities in to enjoy life.
 

About Our Volunteer Program
We welcome you to the volunteer "family" at St. Joseph Convent.  As a volunteer, you are providing services needed by our residents and staff.

The Purpose of Volunteers at St. Joseph Convent:

  • To enhance the quality of life for our residents.

  • To help residents keep a zest for living, keep their sense of humor, and find joy in life

  • To give residents meaningful contacts with members of the community.

  • To work with other members of the health care team to provide life enrichment opportunities to every resident.

    Anyone young and old, can volunteer. We have projects that fit anyone's interests and abilities.
  2. How much time do I have to commit?
    Volunteer as often as works for your schedule.
  3. When can I volunteer?
    Volunteer Sunday through Saturday. Volunteer in the morning or in the afternoon.
