Today there are over one hundred forty retired School Sisters of St. Francis living in the convent. All volunteer their services in some capacity. One Sister designs special rosaries out of rose petals as unique remembrances for families.
Dried rose petals from wedding bouquets or floral arrangements from funerals are used to craft beads for handmade rosaries.
The amount of roses needed depends on size and quality of the rose. All beads turn black, no matter the color of the rose.
This rose petal rosary is a wonderful thing for families to remember their loved ones, or make a wonderful gift from a special occasion like a wedding or anniversary.
All the proceeds from the sale of the rosaries help Sisters support the various missions and charities the sisters support. If you have any questions click HERE for our FAQ document.
