St. Joseph Convent Hand-Made Rosaries

Today there are over 170 retired School Sisters of St. Francis living in the convent. All volunteer their services in some capacity. A few design special rosaries out of rose petals as unique remembrances for families.

Dried rose petals from wedding bouquets or floral arrangements from funerals are used to craft beads for handmade rosaries.

The amount of roses needed depends on size and quality of the rose. All beads turn black, no matter the color of the rose.

A rose petal rosary is a wonderful thing for families to remember their loved ones, or make a wonderful gift from a special occasion like a wedding or anniversary.

All proceeds from the sale of the rosaries help support the various missions and charities the sisters support.
