St. Joseph Convent - Campbellsport (SJC-C) is the birthplace of the School Sisters of St. Francis (SSSF), a world-wide order of women religious now consisting of 990 Sisters and associates serving in North America, Latin America, Europe and India. Founded in 1874 by three emigrants from Germany, the School Sisters of St. Francis have been active in serving Campbellsport and the surrounding community for nearly 137 years.
SJC-C offers a full continuum of care needs: independent living, assisted living, full nursing care and specialized memory care. Currently SJC-C has 160 employees. SJC-C offers 24/7 RN services, on-site radiology, on-site therapies, contracted pharmacy services, on-site dental care and podiatric care, a fully-equipped wellness center and six-day/week activity schedule.
SJC-C facility is a historic; 8-story building housing retired SSSF and three other religious orders located on eleven scenic acres in the heart of the Kettle Moraine and adjacent to the Milwaukee River. The building is surrounded by an orchard with over 200 fruit trees providing the Sisters with ample fresh fruit.
SJC-C is an easy commute from either Hwy 41 or Hwy 45 and Campbellsport is located midway between Fond du Lac and West Bend.

At St. Joseph Convent, we are more than a retirement home for religious Sisters. Here young and old share their lives together. Residents are cared for as good friends. Regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations, residents are offered a wide range of opportunities to enjoy life. We welcome you to the volunteer "family" at St. Joseph Convent. As a volunteer, you are providing services needed by our residents and staff.
